I'm an assistant prosecuting attorney in an upper Mid-Western state that will remain nameless for reasons that will probably become obvious as this weblog develops.
I've been a lawyer for 21 years and an assistant prosecutor for 20. I spent the first year out of law school working for our intermediate appellate court before coming to this semi-rural county where I have been ever since.
I have done just about everything there is to do in our office, from misdemeanor and juvenile cases to felony drug prosecutions to murder trials to appeals. I've had cases in all our county courts, both our intermediate appellate court and our state supreme court, the federal district court, and our federal circuit court of appeals.
